Destiny to host 8th annual Christmas Outreach Event

Destiny Christian Church and the Destiny Community Center will be hosting their annual "Love Our City Christmas" event on December 14th and 15th at the Destiny Community Center in Rocklin, Ca.

For the last 7 years, Destiny has invited hundreds of families to the Destiny Community Center to witness a fun Christmas production and enjoy a day where the children are immersed in a winter wonderland full of candy, toys, pictures with Santa, activities, food, and will leave with a brand new bike and helmet. This year, it is estimated that over 3,000 people will come out to experience the Christmas festivities.

Dates + Times

This year, the Christmas outreach event will be during three different shifts: December 14th at 10am and 4pm, and December 15th at 3pm at the Destiny Community Center.

How are the families selected?

The Destiny Community Center partners with dozens of schools in Placer County, and has coordinated with school officials to select families that are enrolled in Title I education systems.

What organizations are partnering with this event?

We are proud to partner with community leaders and organizations like Walmart, Lowes, Sacramento Kings, Brizzi Financial, Placer County Transportation Agency, Consolidated Communications, and others to help bring this events the families in need.
